Creating Course Modules
If you made a course map before you started then now might be a good time to create the modules for your new course. They will be empty for now, but ready to take the lessons you build later…
Modules are like folders which contain 1 or more lessons with a common theme. You can create a module at any time, and you can add lessons to them later.
To create a new module:
From the website admin dashboard, go to Sensei LMS and click “Modules”

Use the “Add New Module” section and give your module an appropriate Name. You can ignore the “Slug” bit… You can also group modules into parents and children (sub sections), but again, let’s ignore that for now.
You can give your module a short informative description if you wish.
Use the Course(s) section and choose the course or courses which will use your new module. Just start typing the name of the course you just created earlier and select it.
Click the blue “Add New Module” button at the bottom to save. Your new module should now be included in the list of modules on the right. * If you don’t see it there, try refreshing the page or clicking the “Apply” button.
Congratulations! You’ve created a Module!
Why don’t you strike while the iron’s hot and create the rest of the modules in your Course Map…. 🙂
