OK, if you’re still following this, you will have created a Course and some empty modules to go with it. Probably best to start work on your lessons now.
Login to your website admin dashboard, and go to Sensei LMS and click “Lessons”.
Now hit the “New Lesson button at the top left of the screen there.
This opens the lesson editor where you can create and add your lesson content.
Just close the annoying New Lesson popup box – we don’t need it!
Click on the “Lesson Name” and give your lesson a proper title.
Click underneath the title where it says “write lesson content” and type some text for your lesson such as a brief summary or description and press enter.
Adding your Lesson to a Course:
Notice the “Lesson” options in the right sidebar… Scroll down through these until you find the “Course” section. Click the dropdown menu there, and select the course you created earlier.
Adding Your Lesson to a Module:
Once you have done that, click the “Module” dropdown and select a module you created earlier to add your new lesson to.
OK – Ignore everything else and just click the big blue “Publish” button top right.
Congratulations! If everything has gone according to plan, you’ve now created a Course, you’ve created modules and added them to your course, and now you’ve created (an empty) lesson and added it to one of your modules.
Take a well deserved break. Then come back and create the rest of your lesson titles, adding them to your course and modules as you go.
